Established in 1978, Oriental Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. is now a leading manufacturer of snack food products in Malaysia.

From its humble beginning, operating from 2 shoplots producing prawn crackers and popcorn snacks catering for the local market, the company has since grown tremendously. Today, Oriental Food operates from 3 Factories covering a total area of 5.5 acres, producing a wide range of snack and wafer products, namely Potato Chips, Cream filled wafer, Extruded and Pellet-based snacks under various names of which the most popular is "Rota".

The product range includes Rota Potato Chips, Rota Prawn Crackers, Super Ring, Chicken Ring, Green Peas, Rostik Rice Crackers, Veta Vegetable & Chicken Flavoured Snack, Chipy Vegetable & Chicken Flavoured Snack, Soto Cuttlefish Flavoured Snack, Onion Rings and Popika Snacks.

Presently, the whole range of Oriental Food snack products are sold locally as well as the overseas market. Its major overseas market include Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Mauritius. The other markets are United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Australia, Europe, America, Indonesia and Maldives.
