The Resintech Group of Companies began with the forming of Resintech Fiberglass & Engineering Works Sdn Bhd in 1978. The company was primarily set up to manufacture a variety of Fiberglass products. At first, Fiberglass reinforced water tanks were manufactured, but as the company's experience developed, new products were added to the list of manufactured items .
As the company was gradually established, the company changed its name to Resintech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd to bring it in line with the goals and aspirations of the Group.
The vast experience accumulated over the years allow the company to also custom-make these tanks to fulfill its customers' expressed requirements and all within a relatively short production time. In the mid- 1980's, the company began production of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Bulk Feed Storage Silos for Livestock Feed. This was the start of a new phenomenon in Malaysia - and lead to modernization /automation of the Feeding Systems. This was also the beginning of the birth of the second company in the Group -

The group's Plastic Division - Resintech Plastic (M) Sdn Bhd WAS FORMED IN 1991. Relatively new, the company has quickly moved up the ranks in the Group to the enviable position of providing the Group's highest contribution to Turnover - another testimony of the Group's ability to succeed.

RESINTECH ENGINEERING SDN BHD was set up in 1981. The company was primarily formed to move into a specialized area of the Livestock industry. With the introduction of the Fiberglass Reinforced Bulk Feed Storage Silos by the sister company, this new company introduced and perfected a new system of animal husbandry that until now was not available in Malaysia. Automatic Feeding Equipment was introduced to the industry by the company. Until now, the industry had been labor intensive and largely inefficient, cost-wise. With the introduction of the Bulk Feed Storage bind coupled with the Automatic Feeding Equipment by the company, the livestock industry was revolutionized. The Engineering division had contributed to the sector by effectively reducing material and labor costs and increasing the livestock yields through today's modern techniques whilst totally eliminating the need for large storage areas and longer processing times. Wastage due to improper feed storage has almost been completely eradicated.

Not being satisfied with just this downstream activity, the company ventured into upstream activities of Grain Handling and Storage Systems. Resintech Engineering Sdn Bhd was awarded the sole distributorship of Butler Bulk Grain Storage and Handling Systems by the Butler Manufacturing Company, USA for Malaysia and Singapore. These System are suitable for Wheat, Rice, Corn, Soybeans and Palm Kernel. Having proved its resourcefulness, the company has been successful in securing several projects in China and Indonesia as well.

The company has placed a great deal of emphasis on its staff. A team of skilled personnel have been formed to assist in the planning, fabrication and installation works, thus being able to undertake a complete job of Grain Storage and Handling System .
